Production Manager - Plastic Injection

A leading manufacturing facility in Rajkot is hiring an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production of medical diagnostic products, specifically vacuum and non-vacuum blood collection tubes. Candidates with extensive expertise in plastic injection moulding operating in a cleanroom environment will be given primary consideration.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct daily manufacturing operations to fulfill output quotas and production schedules.
• Oversee injection moulding equipment performance, process parameters, and product standards.
• Maintain strict cleanroom protocols, hygienic standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Minimize scrap rates, material wastage, and unscheduled machine idle time.
• Supervise production workforce, allocate shift duties, and implement continuous process enhancements.
• Work closely with maintenance, quality assurance, and planning divisions to ensure seamless workflow.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in production management.
• In-depth background in plastic injection moulding processes.
• Prior experience in cleanroom manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in manpower allocation, rejection minimization, and capacity optimization.
