Hospital Pharmacist Opening in Kannur

Koyili Hospital is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to manage pharmaceutical services and support patient care at our facility in Kerala. The candidate will oversee medicine distribution, stock management, and compliance with hospital healthcare standards.

Key Requirements:

• B.Pharm or D.Pharm degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council (mandatory).
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (freshers may apply).
• Female candidates are preferred for this position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription drugs accurately to both OPD and IPD patients following clinical orders.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, potential drug interactions, and overall safety.
• Track pharmacy inventory, enter stock details, and monitor medication expiry dates using hospital software.
• Counsel patients on proper drug usage, dosage instructions, and possible side effects.
• Maintain stock levels of pharmaceuticals, medical items, and surgical supplies.
• Collaborate with medical staff, nursing teams, and procurement departments for timely drug availability.
• Adhere strictly to NABH protocols, internal policies, and statutory healthcare guidelines.
