In-Patient Department Manager Raiganj

Jeevan Rekha Hospital is hiring an IPD Manager to supervise daily in-patient care workflows at our hospital in Raiganj. The role centers on bed allocation, discharge coordination, and cross-departmental operations to ensure a smooth stay for patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise routine IPD functions, including patient admissions, room assignments, transfers, and final discharges.
• Maintain clear communication lines between nursing teams, attending doctors, billing, pharmacy, TPA/insurance, and housekeeping.
• Track bed occupancy figures, daily admissions, and discharge documentation to reduce patient wait times.
• Handle patient or family feedback on-site, resolving operational issues before they escalate.
• Oversee processing for TPA, cashless approvals, and government health scheme paperwork.
• Perform daily floor rounds across IPD wards to check operational compliance and hygiene standards.
• Maintain MIS records on department productivity, bed turnover, and shift attendance for leadership review.
• Ensure ward documentation stays aligned with hospital SOPs and NABH quality guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree or post-graduation in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration.
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience handling IPD workflows in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIMS) and MS Excel.
• Working understanding of TPA claims and NABH accreditation protocols.
• Strong coordination capabilities and a structured approach to team management.
