Lab Operations Manager in Raiganj

Jeevan Rekha Hospital is hiring a Lab Operations Manager to handle day-to-day coordination and workflow across our diagnostic services in Raiganj. This is an administrative and management position rather than a bench tech role, focused on improving turnaround times, managing shifts, and keeping operations running without friction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise routine lab workflow right from patient intake and specimen collection down to report delivery.
• Keep track of Turnaround Time (TAT), addressing delays, critical values, and pending tests promptly.
• Manage shift rosters, attendance, and staffing adjustments to handle peak hours smoothly.
• Act as the main point of contact between the lab, OPD, IPD, billing, emergency units, and attending doctors.
• Handle patient inquiries or service issues directly to ensure a decent patient experience.
• Coordinate with reference labs for outsourced tests and track vendor visits for equipment servicing.
• Maintain operational MIS reports and present routine performance metrics to hospital leadership.
• Ensure processes meet hospital SOPs and NABH compliance standards through regular floor rounds.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business, or related fields.
• 5 to 7 years working in hospital operations or diagnostic center coordination.
• Hands-on comfort with HIMS/LIS platforms and MS Excel for daily data tracking.
• Prior exposure to NABH accreditation guidelines is a definite plus.
• Strong problem-solving capability and ease working in high-volume environments.
