AI Automation Engineer for Business Apps

AI Automation Engineer About the Role We are looking for a tech-savvy builder who can use modern AI coding tools and automation platforms to solve practical business and financial problems. The role is not about manually writing every line of code. AI tools can handle much of the coding work, while you will be responsible for understanding business logic, planning database structures, connecting APIs and Webhooks, and delivering working web applications and internal tools quickly. Tech Stack We Use

• Core Development: AI Coding Agents such as Cursor, Claude Code and v0, along with Supabase (PostgreSQL), Next.js / React, Tailwind CSS, Vercel and Git.
• Automation & Integration: Google Apps Script, Webhooks, REST APIs, n8n, Make and Zapier.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-Assisted App Development: Use AI coding agents including Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Bolt and v0 to build, test and ship full-stack internal web tools and portals.
• Workflow Automation & Integration: Connect different systems such as Tally, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, CRMs and Payment Gateways through APIs, Webhooks and automation engines including Make.com, n8n, Zapier and Google Apps Script.
• Database & Architecture Management: Create reliable database models using PostgreSQL and Supabase, maintain data integrity, use proper indexing and handle secure deployments through Vercel and Supabase.
• Business & Financial Logic Execution: Work directly with founders to turn unstructured accounting and operational workflows, including GST, Invoicing and Approval systems, into structured and automated software solutions.

Key Requirements & Skills

• AI Tooling Mastery: Be fluent in prompting and orchestrating AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, v0 and ChatGPT to generate and debug functional code.
• API & Webhook Proficiency: Have a solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON data structures, Webhooks, authentication methods and third-party integrations.
• Database Fundamentals: Have a strong understanding of relational databases including SQL, PostgreSQL and Supabase, along with schema design, primary and foreign keys and data normalisation.
• Basic Web Fundamentals: Understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript concepts well enough to review, modify and deploy AI-generated frontend and backend components.
• Financial & Business Acumen: Be comfortable working with business numbers, Indian financial calculations such as GST, TDS/TCS, invoice reconciliations and FY dates, as well as Excel and Google Sheets.

Eligibility & Mindset

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience building projects, web applications or automations. A portfolio or other proof of work is considered more important than formal experience.
• Degree: B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / B.Sc (CS/IT) with strong logical problem-solving abilities.
• Mindset: "Bias toward shipping." The focus is on delivering a simple, working system instead of over-engineering complex code.
