US Payroll Customer Support Specialist

UZIO is looking for an empathetic and skilled Customer Support Agent to deliver prompt help and ensure great experiences for users. You will act as our frontline expert, handling inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, solving technical challenges, and guiding clients through our platform.

• Handle customer requests across various channels to boost satisfaction levels.
• Diagnose and fix issues related to benefits, HR, and payroll software.
• Walk clients through system features and capabilities.
• Log all interactions and resolutions precisely within our CRM platform.
• Partner with internal teams to escalate intricate problems and maintain smooth operations.

Core Requirements:

• Prior background in customer support or help desks, preferably within tech or software firms.
• Solid grasp of payroll, HR, and benefits workflows.
• Clear interpersonal communication and patience when explaining technical concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Familiarity with ticketing platforms and CRM software like Zendesk or Salesforce.
• Genuine empathy and commitment to supporting users.
• Capacity to operate independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• At least 2 years of hands-on background in US payroll processing and client assistance.
• Familiarity with wage laws, compliance standards, and federal or state tax rules.
