IT Security Specialist - Amla Commerce

Amla Commerce is hiring an experienced IT Security Specialist to strengthen the security infrastructure and protect our enterprise ecommerce platforms. In this role, you will perform hands-on vulnerability assessments and safeguard both network and web application environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform manual penetration testing across networks, servers, and infrastructure to detect potential security flaws.
• Execute web application security assessments to mitigate OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25 risks.
• Analyze automated reports from Nessus and Burp Suite, verifying potential false positives through POC testing.
• Configure and maintain web application firewalls (WAF) such as Cloudflare or Imperva along with network firewalls.
• Administer IP access control lists, manage antivirus deployments, and support SOC compliance procedures.
• Assess security threats continuously and recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in VAPT and infrastructure security.
• Proficiency with security tools including Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, Burp Suite, and OWASP ZAP.
• Strong understanding of network security protocols, IDS/IPS systems, and wireless encryption standards.
• Professional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
