Haleon is seeking a dedicated Specialist – IP (Patents) to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will deliver essential intellectual property intelligence, analysis, and strategic insights across the innovation lifecycle to support our R&D and legal operations.
Engage with scientists and innovation teams to identify emerging technologies and potential partnerships.
Perform patent landscapes, white space analyses, and technology assessments.
Evaluate external innovation opportunities, conduct IP due diligence, and assess third-party portfolios.
Design and execute advanced patent searches, including prior art, patentability, and validity analyses.
Support patent attorneys in drafting, filing, prosecution, and freedom-to-operate investigations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Information Science, or a related discipline.
5 to 7 years of professional background in patent searching, IP intelligence, or related roles.
Strong expertise in information retrieval, patent databases, and analytical frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable business recommendations.
