Field Sales Engineer - Instrumentation

Valter Technologies LLP is hiring a Field Sales Engineer in Mumbai for sales and business development of process instrumentation and automation solutions across assigned industrial client territories.

• Promote process instrumentation including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical measuring instruments.
• Develop new business across Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Power, and Water Treatment sectors.
• Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and understand complex process requirements to pitch suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, follow up for order closure, and achieve sales targets.
• Engage with consultants, EPCs, and end-user decision makers while coordinating with internal execution teams.
• Track market developments, competitor trends, and maintain timely sales reporting and collections.

• Educational background: Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2 to 6 years of field sales experience in industrial products, preferably in instrumentation or automation.
• Freshers possessing strong technical knowledge and eager learning capability will also be evaluated.
• Proficiency in reading P&IDs, understanding industrial process setups, and managing field travel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and solution-focused sales mindset.
