Reservations Specialist at Munnar Resort

The Signature Munnar is looking for a Reservations Specialist to manage room bookings and assist with front desk coordination at our resort in Anachal. This role covers booking entry, guest inquiries across multiple channels, and cross-department communication to ensure smooth arrivals.

Core Responsibilities:

• Process room bookings coming in via phone, email, WhatsApp, direct website, OTAs, and travel agency partners into the PMS.
• Handle incoming guest queries about room types, current package deals, resort amenities, and booking terms.
• Send formal reservation confirmations, process modifications or cancellations, and forward special requests to housekeeping, front office, and F&B staff.
• Keep track of incoming entries from channels like Booking.com, Agoda, and MakeMyTrip, double-checking guest details and preferences.
• Pitch room upgrades, package add-ons, and extended stays during reservation inquiries.
• Follow up on advance deposits, issue invoices, and process guest payment documentation.
• Maintain clean guest profiles and reservation notes in the PMS system.
• Lend a hand at the front desk for check-ins, check-outs, or general guest queries when daily operations require extra coverage.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of prior front office or room reservation experience in a hotel/resort setup.
• Clear communication skills over telephone and email.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS software (like Djubo or eZee) and OTA extranets is helpful.
• Good task organization to track pending payments, emails, and schedule updates efficiently.
• Readiness to support front desk teams during peak resort hours.
