F&B Service Captain

Dream Coconut Villa Resort in Munnar requires a dedicated Food & Beverage Captain to direct restaurant floor activities and guarantee memorable guest dining moments. The person selected will demonstrate solid leadership competencies, clear interpersonal communication, and deep commitment to guest satisfaction.

Core Duties

• Supervise daily restaurant and dining operations.
• Coordinate table reservations and seating arrangements.
• Lead and guide service staff to maintain high hospitality standards.
• Train and mentor restaurant staff on service procedures and guest handling.
• Welcome guests and ensure excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and housekeeping teams for smooth operations.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the restaurant.
• Prepare daily reports and assist management in operational planning.

Candidate Profile

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Captain or Senior Steward is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

Job Parameters

Experience: Generally requires 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory role in F&B service. Freshers are considered too.
