Sand Blaster and Blaster Painter - Shipyard

Sea Blue Shipyard Ltd. is hiring an experienced Sand Blaster / Blaster Painter for operations at the Vypin facility in Kochi to handle surface preparation and protective coating application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation on ship hulls, decks, and structural steel using grit or copper-slag media.
• Apply marine-grade primers, anti-fouling paints, and epoxy coatings using airless spray equipment and manual tools.
• Maintain equipment, ensure compliance with shipyard safety protocols, and work safely in confined spaces and at heights.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in shipyards, marine repair, or heavy industrial fabrication.
• Physical fitness to work in outdoor coastal environments and wear required protective gear.
